After a long weekend of similar, repetitive Jazz Fest coverage, I created this interactive Instagram story for NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune to change it up. The polls received over 800 votes consistently, and the views averaged around 6,000 per slide. The story was contained as a highlight on the profile for over a week after production, which contributed to the high view count. The navigation count ratio at the start was around 5,000 forward:300 exited. By the end, our remaining audience was committed, dropping to 3,600 forward:42 exited.
